Catching some ZZZZZs!

I think it's odd that babies can sleep almost any place or in any position. When I check on Allie during her naps, I frequently find her on her knees or her face smashed up against her "me in the mirror" crib toy. But this one was too weird. How can she possibly sleep like that?!? This was a first!
Allie loves to fall asleep in her car seat. We don't ever have to put her in it to get her to sleep, she just does it when we're out and about. She must get that from her mother. :0

A very happy unbirthday to you!

Allie is 6 months old today! Can you believe it? We had her pictures taken for the occasion. Ok, so we've been getting her picture taken every 2 months (a bit obsessive, I know) and this is the first time we've had so many great shots. So at 6 months old, Allie's personality is really starting to develop. She loves to play with us on the floor and has a really great laugh. When she smiles, it's always a really big smile. Allie is eating all sorts of solid foods, she hasn't met one that she doesn't like (yet). Not crawling yet, but she is doing the army crawl and makes her way all around the house. She can get up on all fours and rock back and forth. Just not figured out how to get them legs and arms working together. It seems as if she is finally on a eat, play, sleep routine (yea!!!!)( (a shout out to Michelle and Baby Wise!) We're sure there are challenges to come, but so far, it's been a great 6 months! :)
