I'll take some funnel cake with my powdered sugar, peas!

Ok so at the Renaissance Festival in Tulsa, we ate lots of good food. One just happened to be a funnel cake. Let me also explain that it was windy and cloudy that day. So, the funnel cake lady must have dumped an entire bag of powdered sugar on our funnel cake. We found a picnic bench and devoured the thing. And if you know Allie, you know she loves "treats". So, after the cake was gone, all that was left was a huge plate of powdered sugar. Allie had to get as close to the funnel cake plate as possible. So this means, she was standing at the end of the table, with her hands grasping the side and peeking her eyes over, again and in Allie fashion asking for more. "Peas, peas". Remember that I told you it was windy... so in perfect timing of all things... the wind picked up the plate and hit Allie square in the face. Poor girl stood there, looking completely shocked, wondering what happened, while her parents and grandparents and on-lookers were laughing, bent over, crying. Maybe you had to have been there. But I think this one goes in the yearbook her senior year or at least in a wedding video. Crazy girl!

Living on Tulsa Time...

Flying to Tulsa from LA to Salt Lake to Tulsa. What a long flight! Allie was a trooper. She loved watching her "toons" and eating her "nacks".

Checking out the goat at the Tulsa Zoo with Grandma Hanson.

The Renaissance Festival in Muskogee. Lots of good food and memorable sights. The gypsies invited Allie to shake the rattles during the May Pole Dance.
Having fun with Grandpa Hanson on a Sunday afternoon.
Playing in the park-which by the way is not centrally located in the neighborhood. Go figure.

We hope Daddy doesn't get stuck on the slide after eating Grandma's cooking all weekend.

Playing in the backyard-check out the homes in background- everywhere we went, the homes were covered in brick! So beautiful!

The Riverwalk along the Arkansas river where we stuffed ourselves at the Melting Pot. Yum!
