Ok so at the Renaissance Festival in Tulsa, we ate lots of good food. One just happened to be a funnel cake. Let me also explain that it was windy and cloudy that day. So, the funnel cake lady must have dumped an entire bag of powdered sugar on our funnel cake. We found a picnic bench and devoured the thing. And if you know Allie, you know she loves "treats". So, after the cake was gone, all that was left was a huge plate of powdered sugar. Allie had to get as close to the funnel cake plate as possible. So this means, she was standing at the end of the table, with her hands grasping the side and peeking her eyes over, again and in Allie fashion asking for more. "Peas, peas". Remember that I told you it was windy... so in perfect timing of all things... the wind picked up the plate and hit Allie square in the face. Poor girl stood there, looking completely shocked, wondering what happened, while her parents and grandparents and on-lookers were laughing, bent over, crying. Maybe you had to have been there. But I think this one goes in the yearbook her senior year or at least in a wedding video. Crazy girl!

Allie looks so happy. Maybe Julia can show her how much fun it is to get into the sugar at home. And Julia doesn't discriminate: she likes granualated, brown, and powdered. Allie can come over for a taste test anytime. :)
Hey Brooke and Blaine!
Evan gave my mom and I your blog! Allie is so adorable! I can only imagine her reaction after all that powder got her in the face! Hope that everything is going well for your cute family! Lots of Love!
Mikelle :)
